Modern Foreign Languages

Film is a highly successful language learning tool for MFL students, enabling students to experience, first hand, the vocabulary, accents and colloquialisms of native speakers. Study days and half day sessions are programmed to enrich the specification topics. Currently, Projector sessions in Spanish, French and German are led by experienced University lecturers.

Please contact us at education@cornerhouse.org with any suggestions for the languages programme and don’t forget to ask us to add your details to our Projector database to keep you updated -> database@cornerhouse.org

All French INSET and study sessions are led by Isabelle Vanderschelden, Senior Lecturer in French, Manchester Metropolitan University.

All German INSET and study sessions are led by Maggie Hoffgen, Freelance Film Lecturer.

All Spanish INSET and study sessions are led by Carmen Herrero, Head of Spanish, Manchester Metropolitan University.
