An opportunity to explore a subject you are interested in and meet like-minded people in a social environment. Although we may provide you with articles to read, there’s no homework we promise! Don't forget to check the recommended level too.

Artswork Course: Behaviour Management and Youth Arts (APT/BM)
A one day course for anyone working within youth arts, especially those who are working directly with young people at risk. Discussing the practical aspects of behaviour management, looking specifically at health and safety issues and risk assessments.
Artswork Course: Budgeting and Fundraising for Youth Arts Projects (APT/GS2)
This one day course is aimed at anyone who has a good idea for a youth arts project, but needs help in developing their budget and successfully securing funding for their project.
Artswork Course: Creating Safety: child protection and youth arts (APT/CS)
A one day course for anyone working within youth arts, especially those using more physical art forms, such as dance and drama. With practical advice and guidelines to develop sensible structures around child protection issues within youth arts.
Artswork Course: Get Sorted 3: Marketing and Celebrating Youth Arts (APT/GS3)
A one day practical and informative training session aimed at filling you with the confidence, skills and knowledge needed to market and celebrate your youth art project successfully.
Artswork Course: Partnership Working and Youth Arts (APT/PW)
This one day workshop shares practical techniques and approaches to working in partnerships with other organisations and individuals in order to achieve a successful youth arts project or event.
Artswork Course: Using the Arts with Juvenile and Young Offenders (APT/JAYO)
A one-day workshop which explores the benefits of using creative activities with young offenders, both within the community and the secure estate. The course will use a mixture of training techniques to help educate and inform.

Science on Screen
This 8 week course adopts a beginners level approach to exploring historic and contemporary cinematic representations of science, focusing on the role that scientists play in film production and the impact of cinema on modern attitudes towards science.
Artswork Course: Youth Arts Project Management (APT/YAM6)
6 day accredited course in developing and running a youth arts project: exploring the philosophy of youth arts; the value of youth arts activity; the influence of youth culture on the arts; and arts as a vehicle for exploring social and political issues.
