Artists & Cinema 2010
This beginners’ course will introduce film-goers to the concerns, strategies and histories of artists’ relationships with film and cinema. The course discusses the many responses of contemporary artists to Hollywood and art house cinema.
Artswork Course: Partnership Working and Youth Arts (APT/PW)
This one day workshop shares practical techniques and approaches to working in partnerships with other organisations and individuals in order to achieve a successful youth arts project or event.
Essential Introduction to Contemporary Art: Photography
This introductory course traces the development of photography, analysing key movements, genres and techniques. This basic introduction will provide a broad basis for critical appreciation of photography within the contemporary art world.
Essential Introduction to Film Studies 2010
Led by Freelance Film Lecturer Maggie Hoffgen, this course introduces the basic areas of film, such as mise-en-scène, authorship and genre, providing the perfect insight for anyone who wants develop critical awareness of film.
