Language learners can benefit hugely from podcasts, both by listening to existing materials on their own mobile devices, and by creating their own podcasts with their teachers in class. This session will look at sourcing useful materials for learners and native speakers through iTunes U. The workshop will also introduce you to the process of podcast creation, and you will learn how to create your own audio recordings to use with your students as revision materials for extra practice of listening skills.
This course will be taught using GarageBand and Keynote software. It will be delivered by Mark Pentleton, one of Apple’s own experienced Distinguished Educators and Director of Radio Lingua, whose podcasts have consistently been in the top 5 education podcasts in iTunes UK and US charts since 2006.
No experience necessary.
A £20 deposit is payable upon booking for each Projector Digital session. This will be refunded upon course completion.
This course is only open to teachers and educators.
