CONT3XT.NET
£26.00

CONT3XT.NET − Sabine Hochrieser, Michael Kargl, Birgit Rinagl and Franz Thalmair − is a committed collective of artists and curators based in Vienna and founded in 2006.

CONT3XT.NET has up to now been in a lively exchange with international artists, curators, theoreticians and authors, and is staking out new creative territories and practises, oscillating between virtuality and reality.

CONT3XT.NET develops and organises platforms for virtual debates, exhibitions, publications, readings and public lectures. Various exciting projects and initiatives have resulted over the years from this close co-operation: exhibition projects, documentations and public presentations.

In addition there are collaborations with international art and cultural institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art, Ljubljana, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Rijeka, the Kunstverein Medienturm Graz or the Kunstraum Niederoösterreich Wien.

This title is a synopsis of the activities of the art collective CONT3XT.NET over the past 5 years, since it was founded in Vienna in 2006.
