Course Outline

This beginners’ course will introduce film-goers to the concerns, strategies and histories of artists’ relationships with film and cinema. Using examples from the 20th century avant-garde, to artists working in feature film, this course discusses the many responses of contemporary artists to Hollywood and art house cinema.
