20:TWENTY

A Timeline of Cornerhouse Exhibitions 1985 - 2005
03 October 2005 - 06 November 2005

On 3 October 1985, Cornerhouse opened its first exhibition, Human Interest. Since then, we've organised and hosted 248 gallery exhibitions by some of the world's most evocative and important artists.

Designed by Alan Ward, 20:Twenty documents the significant contribution that the work presented at Cornerhouse has made to the development of contemporary art internationally, in the UK and especially in the North West.

The exhibition gives everyone, from long-time friends to those just discovering the galleries, a chance to relive our exhibition history and look forward to the future.
